Most stories are told through words. But there are those that read better in glances. These stories are told in half-smiles, tiny, almost imperceptible tilts and turns of the head, an unfinished movement of the hand... All the little things that reveal what people are feeling with no other explanation needed. For its Fall/Winter 2026 collection, AHLEM takes on an ambitious and beautiful mission to embody the entire fascinating complexity of human relationships in eyewear designs that are equally nuanced. The new frames capture moments of romance, tension, and tenderness in their sculpted, artistic silhouettes, precious metal finishes, and technical innovations that AHLEM implements with the delicacy the subject in question calls for.
Echoes of Love: Five Acts of Parisian Romance
Pitching its new collection through a traditional fashion campaign was something AHLEM considered too unfitting for an elevated concept it had in mind. Instead, the brand tied its Fall/Winter 2026 designs into a whole story about two lovers. Named "Echoes of Love", it was released to the public in five cinematic acts that take us to an ordinary Parisian apartment, where we spend one day with the characters, a man and a woman, following their usual rituals, shared leisure, inner jokes, misunderstandings, conflicts, reconciliations… AHLEM's story starts with laid-back chatter over coffee. Some playful remarks are exchanged, and plans are made for the day. As the two go out to town, though, the idyll gives way to an emotional outburst. Awkward moments of silence follow, and the tension keeps building until the day runs its course and the couple finally finds their way back into each other's arms. Her hand puts a record on, his hand lights a candle, then they touch - a small, intimate moment, and we want no better finale. As these familiar scenes unfold before us, AHLEM eyeglasses and sunglasses become part of the characters and their personalities, accompanying their changing moods and setting the tone for all the cute, dramatic, sensuous - wonderfully real - interactions they are having.

Yvonne: Weightless Geometric Charm
Outlined in whisper-delicate metal, the Yvonne strikes the eye with its lens geometry. The contours are angular, yet they flow softly, keeping the sunglasses light, visually and physically. Like many other AHLEM styles, the frame seems to be fairly simple at first glance, but a closer look will reveal a beautiful dimpled pattern running weightlessly all around the rims and along the temples. It lends that subtle tactile feel to the otherwise smooth metal, and you want to run your fingers over its surface again and again. The design wraps up with the custom-shaped end pieces with AHLEM's signature geometric flourish - circles and triangles, the Bauhaus legacy. Each of the understated lens colors the model is available in has its peculiar, nuanced charm, be it mellow taupe or cooler green gradients, while the precious finishes shimmer in shades of gold you never even knew existed until AHLEM showed them to you - Champagne, Peony, and Gray Gold.
Houdon: AHLEM's Softer Take on Masculinity
The Houdon may have started as a familiar acetate square, but it is all too ready to ditch rigidity for an attempt at rethinking what is typically viewed as proper masculine eyewear design (so AHLEM!). Halfway through the frame, its corners get gently clipped and faceted, and the mild diagonal edges that are born in their place give the shape somewhat of a gem-cut quality - still assertive, but in a more delicate, sophisticated way. Another standout detail is AHLEM's visible metal wire core with its intricate filigree of repeating circles and triangles peeking through the temples. Hardly ever settling on standard 'manly' colors like solid black or brown, AHLEM comes up with a range of intriguingly subdued translucent finishes for this frame, including the muted blue of Petrol Light, the deep Green River, the coffee-warm Mokalight, and the dreamy, almost entirely see-through Novemberlight. Designed to have minimal presence, these palettes work their quiet, luminous sort of acetate magic.
Cadet and Trévise: Romantic Pilots for Him and Her
Two graceful interpretations of the classic metal aviator, the Cadet and the Trévise share the same AHLEM aesthetic. Their personalities, however, are rather wide apart. The proportions of the Cadet are relaxed and generously rounded, just like a traditional pilot frame; there is enough room here to keep the flow easy and soft, especially around the corners. The Trévise, for its part, takes a sharper turn, with lenses that are shallower, almost rectangular, and crisp horizontal lines that give it a more graphic vibe. Both new AHLEM styles come with slender, elaborately worked brow bars and temples that alternate between brushed metal and exquisite hammered textures (or laser-engraved filigree), ending in miniature staircase-like steps. Available as optical frames and sunglasses, AHLEM's latest aviators boast fine metallic finishes with classic lens tints alongside the more imaginative options like Rain Gradient.
Poitou: Delicately Bold and Tastefully Beveled
Carved in firm, deliberate lines from slabs of premium Italian acetate as thick as 8 mm, the Poitou is quite a piece of oversized, femme fatale hexagons. Deep, glossy rims accentuate the irregular angles of these geometric frames, catching and scattering the light with every shift of the head until the silk-like sheen of the extra-wide temples is suddenly interrupted with a single beautifully matte, raw-cut bevel (AHLEM's go-to move in this collection). Curated finishes, as if out of a jewel box, are somewhere in between discreet and seductive. The smoky allure of Darklight with Storm, the sumptuous Classic Turtle with Khaki lenses - whatever you choose, count on some tantalizing glimpses of AHLEM's geometric wire-core filigree through translucent ear pieces, while the front pins and hinges are treated to their own precious-metal finishing touches. The overall presence is strong but nonchalant, aristocratically aloof.
Carpentier: A Retro-Cool Wink
The Carpentier borrows the expansive, broad-lens shape of a vintage pilot frame but, once again, leaves behind the usual sternness to explore some more. Its suave acetate silhouette has a leisurely, almost fluid curvature - topline sweeping gently, lower rims comfortably rounded. The substantial front is balanced by slimmer temples that are beveled AHLEM-style, ever so subtly, with the engraved wire core that can be spotted through the more transparent finishes. The neat keyhole bridge and rivets plated in gold or palladium add their own final portion of old-school charm. AHLEM offers the design as both eyeglasses and sunglasses, trying on different moods - the noble, nostalgic richness of Dark Turtle, the hazy sophistication of Smokedlight, and the more enigmatic Foglight version.
Julien: AHLEM Goes All-Out on Female Aviator
The absolute headliner of AHLEM's new collection, the Julien changes what it even means to engineer an aviator frame in the first place. The iconic teardrop lenses gain edgier, more polygonal outlines in this model. The traditional nose bridge disappears completely, and the entire front is left literally floating from the slim top bar, so lightweight it becomes. The mere suggestion of rims coats the lenses in the gleam of precious AHLEM finishes, with polished reflections changing into brushed bevels, and countless tiny hand-hammered marks adorning the metal surface. Joined to the front by AHLEM's iconic geometric hinges, the bronze-based temples showcase the same delicate metalwork, boasting a recognizable stepped pattern at the tips. The model is available in palettes that are both gentle and striking, Ruthenium Polished with Lilac being a particularly memorable choice.
