    Barton Perreira

Barton Perreira is a California luxury brand established in 2007 by Bill Barton, the former president of Oliver Peoples, and Patty Perreira, the former vice president of design in the same company. The brand avoids big logotypes on the glasses, concentrating its attention on incredible design, unparalleled fit, and excellent precision. Emmanuelle is the best-selling frame that features a decorative enamel – a complicated process applied to create vintage jewelry. Every pair of sophisticated eyewear is handmade in Japan by the best masters to provide unique and superior quality products for people who know exactly what they want with no compromises.

The stunning collection of eyewear created by Barton Perreira for both women and men combines craftsmanship and a stylish look to make distinctive designs, both classic and carefree. The company offers a wide choice of impressive styles in interesting color combinations and a mix of high-quality materials. If you prefer timeless looks, iconic designs, and classic tones, we are waiting for you at 280 Columbus Ave to try on these sophisticated glasses. As an official dealer of Barton Perreira eyewear in Manhattan, New York, we offer a great selection of authentic frames from the famous manufacturer.

Eyewear made by Barton Perreira is timeless, being a piece of art that becomes a part of its owner. The independent brand takes its time to invest in impeccable craftsmanship using innovative technology and focus on the tiniest details to create perfect eyewear that ensures a lifetime of use. Launched by two talented people, the company offers luxury and fashionable glasses for people with a refined taste. The intuitive and fearless style of Patty Perreira always made her collections in Miu Miu, Vera Wand, Paul Smith, Prada, Oliver People the center of attention, and of course, Barton Perreira is no exception.

Bill Barton started his career as an optician, learning all the tricks of this industry from the inside. This valuable experience helped him to become the CEO of Oliver People, and formed his further growth in the eyewear industry and ability to create his own brand that provides truly perfect glasses crafted by the most experienced artisans from Japan. The collection from Barton Perreira introduces a great selection of styles, including the Fair Lady – chic and stylish oversize frame with painted inlay and a variety of prescription lenses. Meticulously made in hand in the best Japanese traditions, every pair of glasses features accents as refined as they are opulent.

When in 2006, the Oliver Peoples company was acquired by Oakley, its former president Bill Barton and the vice president of design Patty Perreira decided to start their own eyewear brand based in Los Angeles with headquarters in Orange County. They established a new firm Barton Perreira in 2007, and it quickly got attention from well-known celebrities such as Jessica Biel, Orlando Bloom, and Angelina Jolie. In September 2008, the markets collapsed, but the new company did its best to focus on creating excellent products of the finest quality. It worked out, and in 2009, the brand was going in the right direction with great results.

The brand’s designer Patty Perreira never follows trends and is moved by pop culture, music, and movies. For example, she got the inspiration for the Autumn/Winter 2011 collection from the 1960s and 1970s, using characters from classic movies “Rebel Without a Cause” and “Love Story”. In 2019, Barton Perreira and Marcolin Group, a leader in the eyewear design, signed a multi-year agreement that states the Marcolin will bring the brand’s exclusive collection of women’s and men’s glasses to choose optical stores and retailers in the Middle East, Europe, South America, Mexico, and Pacific Asia Countries (except Japan).
