About
Born in California, SALT. is inspired by the tones of nature and uses everything from ocean blues and greens to the golden browns found in the desert. The vintage-inspired silhouettes are offered in honey gold, brushed copper, redwood, black sand and other hues that are lifted from the natural world. When it comes to materials, SALT. utilizes only 100% Japanese acetate and aerospace grade titanium to provide unparalleled quality and luxury comfort. The manufacturer partners with Takiron Rowland, a Japanese acetate factory that produces the most premium handmade cellulose acetate in the world. As a result, the acetate frames by SALT. are both hypoallergenic and sustainable.
Crafted from the premium-grade titanium (in the front) and beta-titanium (in the back), the SALT. glasses feature a durable construction, featherlight feel and ultra-modern look. The titanium is engineered to maintain perfect optics, providing stability where needed most, thus securing the lens properly in the frame. As a result, any stress on the frame is not transferred to the lens, which greatly improves any optical situation.
