Innovative Magic from l.a.Eyeworks: Eyewear that Makes a Difference

L.A.Eyeworks Uncensored Vision Eyewear Campaign

More than 40 years ago, two close friends, Barbara McReynolds and Gai Gherardi, decided to join their forces and imagination in order to change the perception of eyewear and create daring, one-of-a-kind optical frames. Founded in 2019, l.a.Eyeworks has become a birthplace of extravagant and bold glasses, designed to celebrate the unique beauty of every face. The intriguing and playful lexicon of l.a.Eyeworks is inspired by the versatile pop culture world from fashion to cinematography to art, including the brand’s signature portrait campaign anchored by the famous tagline: “A face is like a work of art. It deserves a great frame.”

Today, l.a.Eyeworks is an international and powerful house of eyewear design. Their spectacles are extremely easy to distinguish for their extravagant shapes, top-grade materials and outstanding color combinations. To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the brand presented a series of photographic interpretations of l.a.Eyeworks’ iconic eyewear designs seen through the lenses of new-generation photographers, including Josef Jasso, Esra Rotthoff, Mimi Haddon, Myles Pettengill, Nate Jensen.

We decided to recall the hottest and most popular l.a.Eyeworks’ frames from the “Uncensored Visions” eyewear campaign. So, let’s dive into the mesmerizing world of sensational shapes and dynamic colors.
